Wij zijn Gaspar en Dorien Asampana. Samen met onze twee kinderen Isaiah (3) en Yael (1) zijn wij verhuisd naar Bolgatanga in Noord Ghana, waar Gaspar vandaan komt.

We hebben samen eerder al drie jaar in Bolgatanga gewoond en veel gereisd naar het platteland. Al zijn er in de steden grote kerken, in de dorpjes vind je verbazingwekkend veel mensen die de liefde van Jezus niet kennen. Er is veel armoede, weinig voedselzekerheid, en er zijn veel mensen die moeite hebben om goed onderwijs te kunnen betalen.

Wij geloven dat God ons roept om Zijn liefde te delen met deze mensen: om relaties op te bouwen door middel van scholing en landbouw. Om zijn Woord te brengen naar de plekken waar Hij het minst zichtbaar is en om te helpen bij de ontwikkeling van dit gebied en deze mensen.

We are Gaspar and Dorien Asampana. Together with our son (3) and daughter (1) we live in Bolgatanga, in Northern Ghana, where Gaspar is from.

We have already lived in Bolgatanga together for three years. We have traveled much to the rural areas. Although there are many big churches in the cities, there are surprisingly many people in the rural areas who do not know the love of Jesus. There is a lot of poverty, food insecurity, and there are many people who find it difficult paying for good education.

We believe that God is calling us to share His love with these people: to build relationships with them through education and agriculture. To take His Word to the places that are least reached and to help in the development of this area and these people.
